Burley is really accessible in an area of exceptional beauty in the South
of England situated between Southampton and Bournemouth. With good road and rail links, Heathrow is only 1 1/2 hours
drive away and both Southampton or Bournemouth Airports just over half an hour away. Ferries operate to the Channel
Islands and France from Poole.
Situated in Burley, Brackenwood offers holiday lets primarily for family holidays and welcomes children
of all ages as well as dogs. During the quieter months we are also happy to offer either long weekend or mid week short
breaks.
The Rayburn Aga is warm and welcoming and there are hints and tips for the Aga inexperienced as well
as cookery books and a wealth of attention to detail generally. We don't expect you to bring everything with you and
provide a starter welcome pack of basic household necessities, all linens and towels as well as all gas, electricity, hot
water and heating which has a thermostat control for you to adjust to your own requirements.
The Welcome book reflects the care we take in providing you with as much information as possible to
assist you in the enjoyment of the property as well as your days out and about in the New Forest. To help you get a
start to your holiday you will also find a bottle of chilled wine in the fridge!
For your added enjoyment during your stay we also supply a selection of games, books, CD's and DVD's,
including those of local interest and for evenings at home on sunnier and warmer days there is an Al Fresco area in the rear
courtyard with a bench table and seating, a barbecue including some complimentary charcoal to get you started and additional
garden furniture should you wish to relax and enjoy the day.
There is off road parking in the driveway and additionally a single garage for your use during your
stay.
The house is equipped with all you would expect including a telephone for incoming and emergency calls.
During 2008 we are also having installed Wi-Fi facilities for those who can't leave that lap top at home.
